Grievances Aired Around Wis. Capitol Festivus Pole
    December 24, 2013 8:15 AM

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The grievances have been aired, and many of them target Gov. Scott Walker and fellow Republicans.

About 100 people showed up Monday to celebrate Festivus in the state Capitol, the made-up holidaymade famous in an episode of the television show “Seinfeld.” Celebrating Festivus involves airing of grievances, which participants did through a megaphone that echoed through the rotunda of the Capitol.

Frequent protester Greg Gordon erected the plain aluminum table-top Festivus pole in the Capitol this month, sharing space with a nativity scene and the 25-foot Christmas tree. Monday’s event also included singing of protest songs, including “Festivus is Here” and other holiday-themed tunes.

Lol. Not more than vaguely familiar with Seinfeld, I thought this was a joke.

Happy Holidays to the Antiplanner and his readers, except for msetty and planner boy Dan.

Let a lump of coal up your ass, metrosucks. You’re almost as big an asshole as “Dick” Cheney.

  5. metrosucks & msetty: For your New Year’s resolution, I want you both to be nicer to each other.

    Happy Holidays Randal.

  7. msetty says:

Randal, that’s hard when one is attacked without any recent reason I can see.

But Merry Xmas to you, too.

Maybe if michael setty wasn’t so nasty to everyone people would be nicer to him. But I don’t think it’s possible for him to be nice. Maybe it’s that lump of coal up where the sun doesn’t shine, who knows.

  9. msetty says:

Just nasty to you and Frank, Metrosucks, and the occasional nasty troll like Fred_Z and “Builder,” too, who are ready to name-call and accuse those who doesn’t agree with their dubious, religious-like beliefs, “ethics” and “morality” that “freedom” can only come from “markets.”

If you were more civil and didn’t accuse Dan, myself and others who honestly disagree with you and namecall that we “hate freedom” and other such patent nonsense, perhaps we’d be more civil when YOU comment. But we’re not holding our breaths.

Collectivist much? Anyone else note how metrosucks has been absent for months? msetty goes off his meds and starts going all borg on everyone who slightly disagrees? Maybe if you went away, metrosucks would go away, and things would be quieter. People would post links to sources. Jesus would forgive sins….just dreaming…
