Quite the set of unattractive options we have to replace LaHood. I didn’t think it was possible to do worse, but now I’m reconsidering.
With a 14% approval rating, why can’t we fire all the bastards and dissolve the federal government? If I received such a low rating on an eval, union or not, I’d lose my job.
Blumenhauer has the safest seat in Congress, so that might be a factor. But, his District has been
damaged by intellectually challenged (fka “smart”) growth. So- there is some leverage here as PDX wakes up and smells the planning mistakes.
Okey doke- I am new to planning. I would not be on this blog if Portland city planners were not out of control- it is their malfeasance that forces me to study up. I am here to learn.
So give me a crash course in Blumenhauer transit mistakes. I know about the Eastside Streetcar fiasco.
